How Rabt works — load once, quote all year
How it works
The work happens once.
Loading a plan takes real effort. It happens at the start of the plan year, and then every quote from it is minutes rather than an afternoon of copying cells.
- 1
Send us the table of benefits
The insurer’s PDF, as they sent it. We capture the benefit rows and the rate table against a version, so every later quote knows exactly which sheet it came from.
- 2
Check it once
You confirm the rows and the rates before the plan goes live. Nothing is quotable until someone has agreed it is right — the review is the step that makes the rest safe.
- 3
Quote in minutes
Members, region, network, declared conditions. Rabt prices every eligible plan, drops the ones that do not apply, and puts up to four side by side.
- 4
Send it under your name
A branded PDF, or a link that expires. The version it was priced on is frozen with it, so you can reproduce the same document months later — exactly as the client received it.
Send us the table of benefits
This is the work.
An insurer's table of benefits is prose in a grid. Quoting from it means every row has a canonical key, a limit, a co-pay and a waiting period. Drag to see the same page both ways.

Common questions
- How long does it take to load an insurer’s rate chart?
- Rabt reads the grids out of the chart itself rather than asking anyone to type them. The work that remains is confirming the mapping: which grid belongs to which network and which co-pay level. That is a review of a proposed mapping, not data entry, and it is done once per chart per policy year.
- Does Rabt come with insurer rates already loaded?
- No. A broker loads their own charts. Rabt holds no insurer’s rates on anyone’s behalf, and the rates a brokerage loads stay theirs — exportable on request, in the format they arrived in.
- What happens when an insurer reissues a chart mid-year?
- The new chart is loaded as a new version. Quotes already produced keep pointing at the version they were priced on, so an old quote can still be explained months later rather than silently repricing itself.
- What if a rate block is ambiguous?
- Rabt proposes a mapping and refuses to commit it automatically. A block labelled "20% co-pay on all OP and 30% on Pharmacy" looks like the plain 20% block to any matcher reading the first percentage, and loading it wrongly puts every premium on that plan a few per cent out.
The mechanics in detail
See it on your own rate charts
Rabt is not a demo account with somebody else’s plans in it. Load one insurer’s rate chart and table of benefits, and quote from them the same day.
