Health insurance quoting software for UAE brokers

Rabt reads a UAE insurer’s rate chart and table of benefits into structured rows once, then prices every quote for the rest of the policy year from those rows. Age bands, married-female columns, TPA networks, co-pay blocks and eligibility rules are held as data, so a comparison across seven plans lines up instead of being assembled by hand.

What makes UAE health quoting hard

No two charts share an age grid
There is no standard UAE age band structure. Across the insurer packs currently loaded in Rabt there are 22 distinct age bands. A spreadsheet comparison needs one row per member and one column per plan, which means mapping every member onto a different band for every plan — 22 possible rows, re-done whenever the client adds someone.
Marital status is a column on some charts and not on others
Where a chart splits single female from married female, the married rate sits above the single rate by as much as 97% in the 21–25 band and by nothing at all from 51 onwards. Comparing a chart that splits against one that blends is comparing two different products.
Networks do not map onto each other
NextCare’s RN tiers, NAS’s restricted networks, Mednet’s named networks and Dubai Care’s numbered tiers are four separate vocabularies. Rabt currently holds 13 network tiers across 6 TPAs, and keeps each one named exactly as the TPA writes it.
Co-pay blocks are not always one percentage
A block labelled 20% co-pay on all OP and 30% on Pharmacy is its own product with its own grid. Matching on the first percentage in that string loads premiums a few per cent out — close enough that nobody notices until a policy is reconciled. Rabt proposes a mapping for every detected block and writes nothing until it is confirmed.
Some plans cannot be sold to some members at all
Maximum entry age, whether a medical application form is required and above what age, whether members below the AED 4,000 salary threshold are accepted, whether a standalone child is allowed. These are not price adjustments — they remove a plan from the comparison, and a quote that ignores them is withdrawn at submission.
The figure on the chart is never the figure the client pays
Charts print gross rates excluding VAT and a per-member levy. Rabt adds the levy per member, then applies VAT to premium and levy together, carrying exact decimal arithmetic through and rounding once — so the total reconciles to the fils against the insurer’s own schedule.

The lines Rabt covers

What it does

Two lines. One of them is ready.

Rabt is built line by line, because a benefit table and a motor schedule are not the same shape and pretending otherwise produces software that is bad at both.

Medical

Live now

Individual and family medical cover, quoted from the insurer’s own tables.

  • Compare up to four plans side by side on one document
  • Benefit tables captured row by row, with the insurer’s own wording
  • Age bands, family composition, region and network built into the rate
  • Declared conditions handled per plan, with the loading applied where it belongs
  • Every quote reproducible months later, against the version it was priced on

Motor

Not built yet

On the roadmap, not in the product. Nothing below works today — it is what motor will do when we build it, and what we want brokers to tell us is wrong.

  • Comprehensive and third-party comparison
  • Vehicle value, age and no-claims history in the rate
  • The same document, the same brand, the same reproducibility

Tick Motor on the form and we will come to you first when it opens.
